Located about 180 km northwest of Rio de Janeiro, today Buzios is an  internationally well known  beach resort. Who lives in Búzios is naturally happy. This ancient Fishermen´s Village with its enchanting beaches, where Brigitte Bardot enjoyed a few romantic days in the sixties, irradiates a  mystic atmosphere of tranquillity and peace which is a balsam for body and soul.
Perhaps this explains the impressive amount of foreigners who arrived as tourists and surrendering  to the beauty of the place, took up residence here. In total there are almost 50 different nationalities living in peaceful  harmony.
