ITINERARY

Enjoy a private, flexible, full-day tour soaking up the sights of Rio de Janeiro. Begin with a train ride to see the Christ the Redeemer Statue atop Corcovado Mountain, followed by a panoramic (external) visit to the Maracanã stadium and additional stops at the Sambódromo (Sambadrome), the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Selarón Steps. After lunch at a restaurant of your choice (meal not included), ride the cable cars up Sugarloaf Mountain.

Begin your adventure in Rio by going to the Cosme Velho station in order to catch the Corcovado Train. The train ride through the tropical forest takes about 20 minutes from ground level to the top of Corcovado Mountain, where you will reach the Christ the Redeemer Statue - one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy unparalleled views of the city and surrounding countryside from Rio de Janeiro's most strategic viewpoint.

Descend Corcovado and continue your tour with an external view of the Maracanã Stadium (stage of two World Cups and one Olympic Games). Visit the Sambódromo, the famous parade area of Rio's carnival. Enter the Metropolitan Cathedral to observe its impressive and unusual architecture. Go to the brightly-colored Selarón Steps in Lapa, one of the most visited landmarks in Rio de Janeiro. Take time to lunch at a restaurant of your choice (not included). 

After lunch, make a final trip to Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Urca neighborhood. Ride a series of 2 cable cars en route to the summit, first arriving at Urca Hill, and then continuing to the top of Sugarloaf, reaching a height of 1,295 feet (395 m). Conclude the tour with an exquisitely beautiful panorama of Rio de Janeiro. Return to your preferred dropff area.
