ITINERARY

Fly with a professional pilot over the natural and urban landscapes of Rio de Janeiro, one the most beautiful cities of the world.

After pick up from your hotel at scheduled time, head to São Conrado beach to meet your instructor, register at the Brazilian Free Flight Confederation, and listen to the safety briefing. Then drive up to the take-off area at Pedra Bonita Ramp, a 520 meter (1,700 feet) tall structure inside the Tijuca National Park, one of the largest urban forests in the world.

Once off the ground with your pilot, relax and observe the spectacular landscape of mountains, ocean, beaches, buildings and roads. Notice some landmarks on your 7-15 min flight such as Christ Redeemer Statue, Sugarloaf Mountain, Guanabara Bay, and finish with landing at São Conrado beach. Receive your high-definition photos and videos after landing. You may spend some more time at the beach or ask your pilot help to get transportation back to the hotel.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Confirmation subject to availability and favorable weather conditions.
  • Expected flight time of 7-15 minutes, depending on wind conditions.
  • Expected total activity duration (transfer, registration, and flight): 2-3 hours.
  • Please inform your height and weight to provide the insurance.
  • Maximum weight for hand-gliding: 95kg (210 pounds)
  • Maximum weight for paragliding: 120 kg (264 pounds)
  • Please inform the name of your hotel to arrange your pickup.
  • Adult price applies to all.
  • Minimum age requirement for this activity is 16 years old. The presence of a legal representative is mandatory together with the identification of the child and of the guardian.
