----------------------TRANSFERS TO THE SAMBADROME
We offer special-licensed transportation to the Sambadrome from the main hotels in Rio de Janeiro. You will arrive near the access gates and return after the end of any samba school.
Transportation includes Hotel x Sambadrome and Sambadrome x Hotel
Non-licensed buses, private cars or taxis cannot approach the Sambadrome area because the streets are closed for the samba schools.
Metro stations are located within a reasonable distance from the site.
After a long night, you will surely want a comfortable vehicle waiting for you, without the need for a taxi ride with countless other people who have also attended the show and are eager to get home. Quietly board your vehicle and you will return safely and comfortably to your hotel or surroundings.
Tour departs around 6:30, 8:30 or 10:30 pm - exact time will be confirmed after booking.
Return times available after the end of every samba school parade with no need of reservation - the tour guide will give instructions at the Sambadrome on how to proceed.
It is mandatory to wear the transportation accreditation and inform your hotel and sector of the Sambadrome that you'll be attending.

ABOUT RIO’S CARNIVAL
The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro is considered the biggest carnival in the world with two million people per day on the streets.
The typical Rio carnival parade is filled with revelers, floats, and adornments from numerous samba schools which are located in Rio (more than 200 approximately, divided into five leagues/divisions). A samba school is composed of a collaboration of local neighbors that want to attend the carnival together, with some kind of regional, geographical and common background.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How will I receive my confirmation of transportation to the Sambadrome?
There are two ways to receive your transportation accreditation.
If you buy 2 or more days in advance: accreditation will be delivered in your hotel with your name.
If you buy 1 day or on the day of the presentation: you should get your accreditation at Hilton Copacabana’s Concierge Desk. The Hilton Copacabana is in the main route to the Sambadrome.
How does the transportation to the Sambadrome work?
The transportation to the Sambadrome is with a licensed vehicle that includes near access to the entrance gate and return after the presentation of each samba school - the tour guide will give instructions at the Sambadrome on how to proceed.
We offer departures at 6:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm – the exact time will be confirmed after the booking.
The transportation is departure and return and the price is per person.
Does the transportation include tickets?
The transportation sold here does not include the tickets to the Sambadrome. Tickets and transportation to the Sambadrome are sold separately.
