ITINERARY

Watch the Rio de Janeiro samba school parades at Carnaval Rio 2024, the greatest show on earth. Buy your ticket for the Grandstand in sector 9. Only Sector 9 is numbered, offering more convenience with a marked seat during the entire parade night.

The grandstands are the liveliest part of the Sambadrome, with a great view of the parade. The seats are concrete steps and the tickets are the most affordable of the event. 

ACCESS GROUP PARADE - 02/09/2024 and 02/10/2024

The traditional samba schools parade on Friday and Saturday in search of top positions and a place in the Special Group in the following year's competition.

SPECIAL GROUP PARADE - 2/11/2024 and 2/12/2024

Rio de Janeiro's best samba schools parade on Carnival Sunday and Monday in search of the title of champion of Rio Carnival 2023. These are the most popular days, when the biggest schools parade, six of them on Sunday and another six on Monday.

CHAMPIONS PARADE - 02/17/2024

After the result, the six best samba schools of the Special Group make one last presentation at the Sambódromo. Without the pressure of the jury, the Parade of Champions has an even more special energy!

• Tickets must be picked up by the person responsible for the purchase upon presentation of an ID document.


• Tickets must be picked up at the Concierge of the Hilton Copacabana Hotel. Please contact us to confirm the day and time of pick-up.


• Special Group - February 11 parade: Porto da Pedra, Beija-flor, Salgueiro, Grande Rio, Unidos da Tijuca e Imperatriz.
  


• Special Group - February 12 parade: Mocidade, Portela, Viradouro, Mangueira, Paraíso do Tuiuti e Vila Isabel.
  


• The Special Group parades (February 11 and 12) and the Champions(February 17) will begin at 10pm. The Access Group parades (February 09 and 10) will begin at 9pm.
  


• The gates of the Sambódromo open at 6:30pm, we recommend arriving at least 1 hour before the start of the parade if you don't have a reserved seat for your ticket.
  


• Sector 9 is the only Grandstands Sector with seat assignment. For the convenience of reserving your seat, we recommend purchasing sector 9.
  


• The minimum age for access to the Sambódromo is 5 years old. Minors (5 to 17 years old) must be accompanied by legal guardians and carry a ticket.
